V. Rathy Devi Sree Parameswaran

I'm Ms. Rathy, an artist with 16 years of teaching experience. I have held private lessons in addition to having taught a large number of students at international schools, internationally and in Japan. I have also organized multiple art workshops. I spent a lot of time learning and honing the techniques since I was passionate about different kinds of art and crafts. In my opinion art and crafts are equally important as any other subjects.

Two TV shows on the national channel of Malaysia had acknowledged my artistic abilities, and I was interviewed for my skills, which was an additional feather in my cap.

As an art teacher, I believe the act of passing down knowledge becomes a powerful force in maintaining a sense of identity and continuity for the next generation. All the skills we learn are a calling for us and by teaching we provide students with opportunities to practice new skills, explore new concepts, and build confidence.

By teaching we build deeper relationships that makes us happier.

I am grateful to God for bestowing upon me this priceless talent of creativity, which is definitely a blessing.

My interview on 360 Degrees on Malaysia's national TV channel, Astro Vaanavil in 2013
